让你的GMail更安全

这两天在网上看到大量的关于GMail的cookie被黑客利用，进而劫持GMail帐号的事情: 通过使用叫Ferret（用来复制GMail的cookies到他的电脑）和Hamster（用来在他的浏览器使用这些cookies）的嗅探工具做到的。（报道看这里，这里，这里和这里）。
要保证你的GMail更安全，请做到以下两点:
- 如果你使用Firefox，那么安装 Greasemonkey这个extension，然后安装GMailSecure这个Greasemonkey脚本。 这个脚本将使你的GMail session始终处于安全情况。
- 如果没有使用Firefox或者没有Greasemonkey，那么不要用http来访问GMail，始终使用https://www.gmail.com。 Black Hat们使用的嗅探工具，只对http有效，对https目前起不了作用。 这样，你在访问GMail时候，就安全了。
【注意】如果你使用无线网络上网，务必注意上述两条。

在Feisty Fawn中安装Thunderbird 2
No Comments, Popularity: 4% [?]想在Thunderbird中使用Google Calendar，需要安装Lightning和Provider for google calendar两个extension，这才发现，在Feisty Fawn中直接安装的Thunderbird还是1.5版的，无法使用那两个extensions。 Google了一下，找到了安装TB2的办法:

Portable Firefox and Thunderbird
No Comments, Popularity: 3% [?]可以安装到U盘上的Firefox和Thunderbird，下载的zip文件解开即可试用，不用安装。版本基本和桌面版的同步（如果有了新的版本，重新下载，解压缩覆盖即可）:
在Portable Firefox我安装了和桌面版相同的extensions和theme，安装完全部extension和theme的Firefox和Thunderbird，分别是33MB和42MB。 这样，即使只带了我的U盘，也可以通过Firefox阅读我的Google Reader，通过Thunderbird检查我的email了。
有网络真好。

把Outlook放在桌面上
No Comments, Popularity: 6% [?]Outlook on the Desktop 是一款可以把 Outlook 部分功能放置于桌面的工具，比如日历，邮件，通讯录等。 通过设置，可以以半透明的效果直接在桌面上操作 Outlook 的相关项目，也可以调整位置和大小。需要 .NET Framework 2.0 支持，以及 Microsoft Outlook 2000 以上版本。
安装了Outlook on the Desktop以后，我的桌面是这样的。 桌面上其他使用的工具是: Yahoo! Widgets和ObjectDock（模拟Mac OSX上的Dock）
如果你的桌面放了大量的shortcut，要么清理一下你的桌面，要么不要使用这个工具（因为你点不上你的shortcut了）。
